Devichand Navaljee & Co has been operating out of Camp, specifically at Munshi Khancha 464, for a really long time. If you know the Camp area, you know how tucked away some of these spots can be. Our building is one of those old ones that has a lot of character but also some creaky floors and narrow stairs. We do a lot of trading and supply work here, so there are always boxes and registers lying around. It’s a family-run kind of setup where everyone knows their role and we don't really need a lot of formal meetings to get things done. The street outside is Munshi Khancha, and it’s always got that specific Camp feel to it, with the old shops and the mix of people walking by. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or big advertisements. Most of our connections are old ones that go back years and years. Sometimes the ledger books get a bit messy, and the phone doesn't stop ringing when we’re trying to load a shipment. It’s just the daily grind of running a business in an old part of town. We try to keep track of everything as best as we can, even when it gets hectic in the afternoons. It’s not a polished corporate office by any means, just a place where work gets done and everyone knows where the tea stall is. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily trade as it comes in.
