Denizen

Denizen is located on Fergusson College Road. We are directly opposite the IDBI Bank. This is a very lively part of the city to work in. There are always people on FC Road, especially students and people headed to the bank. Being right across from a bank means there is a lot of foot traffic near our entrance. We spend our days managing the shop and trying to keep everything in order. It’s a lot of work to keep the shelves stocked and the floor swept. The noise from the road is something we’ve just gotten used to over time. We can hear the cars and the people talking outside all day long. We start our mornings by checking what arrived in the latest shipment. We spend a lot of time in the back room unpacking boxes and then bringing everything out to the front. It’s a lot of physical work that keeps us busy. FC Road has a specific energy and we are right in the middle of it. We just handle the customers as they come and go. Sometimes the shop is packed and other times it’s just us and the radio. We don't try to make it sound better than it is. It’s just a shop on a busy street. We do the tasks we are supposed to do and then we head home when the shift is over. It’s a simple, steady routine at our spot near IDBI Bank.
