Dem Softtech

You can find Dem Softtech at Shop No 3 along the Hadapsar Vasad Road. It’s a small shopfront, nothing like those big IT parks you see nearby. We have a few computers lined up against the wall and a very comfortable chair that everyone fights over. We do software work, but we also help people with basic computer problems because that’s what the neighbors need. The street outside is always busy with people heading towards Vasad, so there's a constant hum of engines. We keep the door open most of the time to get some air, even if it gets a bit dusty. I started this place because I wanted to work for myself instead of some big firm where nobody knows your name. Now, it’s just me and two other guys. We spend our mornings coding and our afternoons dealing with whatever walk-in customers we get. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and we end up ordering food from the place next door. We don't have any awards on the wall or a mission statement printed out. We just try to write clean code and fix the bugs that pop up. Our desk is covered in sticky notes and empty tea cups. It’s a messy way to work, maybe, but it’s our way. If you’re walking down Vasad Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s a bit faded from the sun, but we’re still here.
