Delight Catering Services

Our kitchen is located at Nana Peth, specifically on 1st Main, 6th Cross. It’s a busy part of town and there is always something going on outside our doors. Most days, we are up before the sun to get the stoves going. Delight Catering Services isn't a big corporate operation; it's just us working in a space that smells like onions and spices most of the time. The 6th Cross is a bit narrow, so when delivery trucks come, it can get a little tight, but we manage. We spend a lot of time cleaning large pots and making sure the floors are dry after a big shift. It is hard work and the heat from the burners can be a lot in the summer months. We get our supplies from the local markets nearby because it’s easier than dealing with big distributors far away. You can usually find one of us standing out front for a quick breath of air between cooking sessions. The neighborhood is loud, with scooters buzzing by and people shouting greetings, but we’ve grown used to the noise. It feels right being right in the middle of everything. We don't have a fancy office for meetings, so we usually just talk to people right there in the kitchen or over the phone while something is simmering. It’s just how we do things here in Nana Peth. We aren't trying to be fancy, just cooking food and getting it delivered.
