If you’re driving around Bavdhan, you might have passed us. We are on the 4th Cross, 9th A Main in the 1st Stage area. It’s a decent neighborhood and we’ve been here for a bit. The shop is mostly filled with stacks of tires of all different sizes. It’s a bit cramped inside because there’s only so much room for all that rubber. We spend most of our time outside on the pavement or in the small bay area. People come in when they have a flat or if their tread is looking a bit thin. We just take the old ones off and put the new ones on. It’s simple work, but it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. The smell of new tires is pretty strong, but you get used to it after a couple of days. We don't have a waiting room with a TV or anything. Most folks just stand around and chat with us while we work. Bavdhan has become a lot busier lately, so there are always cars pulling in. Sometimes we have to tell people to wait a bit if we’re already working on a couple of vehicles. We just try to get everyone back on the road. It’s an honest way to make a living and we know most of the locals by now. It gets dusty, but that is fine.
