Deepmaya Engineering

We’re based in the Deepmaya Complex, located at 2/1/1A on the Aundh Manasahemavathi Road. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We named the building after ourselves, or maybe it was the other way around, I can’t quite remember now. We do engineering work here, which mostly means we are always surrounded by parts and tools. The shop floor is where most of the life happens. It’s got that specific smell of cooled metal and cutting fluid. We aren't the type to wear suits; usually, it’s just work shirts and trousers that have seen better days. The Aundh area has changed quite a bit since we first moved in. There are more shops and cars now than there used to be. Inside our complex, we try to keep things organized, but it can get messy when we are in the middle of a big project. We just take it one day at a time. If a customer comes in, they usually find us bent over a machine or talking about a drawing. We don’t have any fancy marketing people. It’s just us. We’ve built a decent reputation around the neighborhood just by being here and doing the work consistently. It’s a simple life of making things and solving small problems as they come up. We like the routine of it all and the way the metal feels when it is finally shaped right.
