Deepak Gokhale

My name is Deepak Gokhale and I run things from the Ganga Nivas basement. This is at 1116/B in Sadashiv Peth. It is right near Nimbalkar Talim Chowk. If you are looking for us, we are basically opposite Gambhir Classes. Being in a basement has its own character. It stays a bit cooler than the top floors when the sun is hitting the building hard in the summer. You have to walk down the steps to get into the office. It is not a massive space, but it fits everything we have. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when there are more than four people inside. The walls are thick. We can hear the traffic from the chowk above, the constant honking of horns and the sound of people talking at the tea stall nearby. Sadashiv Peth is a busy place, and Ganga Nivas is right in the middle of that energy. We have a simple desk and some storage for our papers. The lighting is all artificial since we don't get much sunlight down here. It is a very functional area. We don't worry much about decor or making it look like a fancy office. It is just where we do our business. Most people who come here know exactly where Nimbalkar Talim is, so they don't get lost too often. It is a very local, Pune kind of spot and we like being right here in the basement of 1116/B. We have been here for quite a few years now.
