Deepak General Stores

Deepak General Stores is located at Bhawani Peth 783, right in the middle of all the bustle. We have been here for years, and the shop has seen a lot of changes in the area. It’s a small place, packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of household goods. We sell everything from plastic buckets to notebooks and small kitchen items. The space is a bit cramped, and sometimes you have to move a stool to get to the back shelves. We don't have a big staff, just me and my cousin who handles the stock. We get a lot of foot traffic because of where we are. People are always popping in for a pen or a packet of salt. It can get quite hot inside during the summer months, so the ceiling fan is always on. We keep our accounts in big handwritten books. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. Sometimes we have a little trouble finding space for new items when the delivery truck comes. We just stack them up as neatly as we can. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest kind of place. We’ve known some of our customers since they were children and now they bring their own kids here. That’s just the way life is at a store like ours in this part of town. It keeps us going every day.
