Deepak Agencies

Deepak Agencies has been part of Nigidi Usmanpura 165 for quite some time now. We started out with just a small room and a few boxes of stock on the floor. It wasn't anything fancy back then and it still isn't really. Most days involve sitting behind the counter and waiting for the delivery trucks to arrive. They often get stuck in the narrow lane outside our door. We spend a lot of time checking lists and making sure the inventory matches what we were told. It’s mostly routine work. Sometimes the neighbors pop in just to chat about the weather or the local news while we’re sorting through piles of paperwork. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but there never seems to be a good day to close up and get it done. We’ve seen the street change a lot over the years. New shops come and go but we just keep doing what we do. Our shelves are crowded with all sorts of things people need. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People around here just know where we are. It’s a quiet life for the most part, even when things get busy during the festival months. We just try to keep the shop organized and handle whatever comes through the door. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We close up when the sun goes down and start again the next morning.
