Deepa Junnarkar

I’m Deepa Junnarkar and I work out of my place at Kundan Kushal Nagar. It’s on the fourth floor, Flat E-22, right there on Elphiston Road in Bopodi. Being up on the fourth floor gives me a bit of a break from the noise of the road below, though you can still hear the traffic during the rush hour if the windows are open. My office is just a room with a desk and a couple of chairs, nothing too special to look at but it's where I feel most productive. I’ve been in Pune for a long time, and Bopodi is where I feel most at home. I don’t believe in having a fancy corporate image because that’s just not who I am as a person. I’m just someone who likes to get things done without a lot of talking. I handle everything myself, from the phone calls to the paperwork, and I like knowing exactly where everything is kept. Some days the lift is slow or the power goes out for a bit, but that’s just life in this part of town. I don’t have any grand plans to expand into a huge office with lots of employees. I like the size of things right now because I can keep a handle on everything personally. It’s honest work and I do it at my own pace. People who know me know I’m reliable, and that’s what matters most.
