Daymond Watch & Music

Daymond Watch & Music is a bit of a mix. We are at 6 Swami Vivekanand Stall, which is right opposite Chintamani Hospital on Gorwa Vadodara Refinery Raod in Bibwewadi. It's a long address but we are basically just a stall. We have watches on one side and music stuff on the other. It’s a bit unusual but it works for us. People coming from the hospital sometimes stop by to look. The road is very busy with all the refinery traffic. It gets noisy and a bit smoky too. We spend our days at 6 Swami Vivekanand Stall waiting for customers. Some want a new watch strap, others are looking for some tunes. We have a lot of old cassettes and some CDs still. It’s not a modern setup. We have a small stool to sit on when things are slow. The stall is small, so we have to be careful how we stack things. We've been in Bibwewadi for quite some time now. Everyone around here knows the spot. We don't have a computer or anything, just a cash box and a notebook. It’s a simple way to live. We close up when the sun goes down and head home. Tomorrow we just do it all over again. Opposite Chintamani Hospital is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We keep a plastic tarp for when it rains. The wind can get strong here sometimes.
