Dayanand Hospital

Atur Nagar in the Undri Pisoli area of Pune has changed a lot lately, with new buildings going up everywhere. Our hospital is right in the middle of all that growth. It used to be much quieter around here, but now there is always construction noise and new people moving in. We have a solid building that stands out a bit on the street. Inside, it is usually a bit of a whirlwind with patients coming in from the nearby housing complexes. We see a lot of young families who have just moved to Undri. The staff is a mix of people who live nearby and some who commute from further into Pune. We have a small canteen where we get our tea, and that’s usually where we catch up on the day’s events. The waiting room has those typical plastic chairs, and there is always a news channel playing on the television in the corner. We don't use any fancy marketing words to describe what we do. We just open the doors every morning and take care of whoever comes in. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes we get tired, but the work is important. We keep the records in big cabinets and try to stay organized despite the chaos. This is Dayanand Hospital, and we are just a part of the local landscape in Atur Nagar.
