Datta Company

Our place, Datta Company, is located over in Jivraj Park Society right off Sinhagad Road. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than being right on the main highway. We’ve been in this building for several years now and the rooms are a bit cramped with all the files and equipment we’ve gathered over time. We aren’t a huge corporation with departments and managers everywhere. It’s just us doing the daily tasks that need to get finished. The walk from the main road isn’t too bad but it gets dusty in the summer months. We have a small fan that rattles in the corner and it’s basically what saves us when it gets hot in the afternoon. Most of the people working here live nearby in the society or just a few blocks away. We don’t have a website that’s updated or anything like that. We just focus on what’s in front of us. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat for a bit while we’re working. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We keep the door open most of the time to let the air in. There isn't a lot of mystery to how we run things. We just open the shutters in the morning and stay until the work is done for the day. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy enough to stay out of trouble. It might not look like much from the outside, but it works.
