Datatronix

Datatronix is tucked away inside the Vishnu Laxmi Society at 681/82 in Sadashiv Peth. It’s a residential-feeling area but with a lot of small businesses scattered around the neighborhood. Our office is on the ground floor, which makes it easy to move stuff in and out without using any stairs. The society is usually quiet, except for when the local kids are coming home from school in the afternoon. Inside, we’ve got shelves filled with various parts and some old manuals that we still refer to when we get stuck. The lighting is a bit dim in the back corner of the room, so we use some old desk lamps to see what we’re doing. We’ve been here since the society was much newer than it is now. The walls are covered with a few calendars and a clock that’s about five minutes fast, which helps us stay on schedule during the day. We don’t have a big reception area or a front desk. People just walk in through the main door and say hello. The chairs are a mix of different styles we’ve picked up over the years, some more comfortable than others. Sometimes the delivery guys have trouble finding the right gate because the numbering in Sadashiv Peth can be a bit confusing. We usually keep the door open in the evenings to let a breeze through. It’s a modest place where we spend most of our waking hours.
