Down in Aundh, specifically at Gandhi Chowk on Plot No. 14, you will find our setup. It is a consultancy and engineering firm, though that sounds a bit more formal than it feels when you are actually inside the office. We spend most of our time looking at technical drawings or talking through project details with people who drop by. The 128/4 address is pretty easy to find if you are familiar with the area. It is a lot of thinking and calculating, making sure that whatever is being planned actually works in the real world. Sometimes we are out on sites, but often we are just sitting here with our tea, going over data on the screens. It’s not like those big firms with hundreds of people. We are a smaller group, so we end up doing a bit of everything ourselves. If the printer jams, one of us fixes it. If a client calls with a weird question, whoever picks up the phone tries to help out. We have been doing this for a good bit of time now, and we’ve seen a lot of different kinds of projects come through the door. Some are easy, some make us scratch our heads for a few days, but we usually figure it out eventually. It is just a steady pace of work without too much drama or overhead. We like it that way mostly because we can focus on the job at hand.
