Our company, Datapalm Services India Private Limited, is tucked away in Pavan Maruti at 1325 Sadashiv Peth. If you know Pune, you know Sadashiv Peth is one of those old, traditional areas with narrow lanes and a lot of character. We like being here rather than in a shiny new IT park. Our office isn't anything spectacular to look at, just some rooms filled with computers and people working. We handle various services for our clients, mostly back-end stuff and data work. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of focus, so the relatively quiet atmosphere of our building helps. Sometimes the lanes outside get clogged with two-wheelers, which is just part of living and working in this part of town. We don't have a big mission statement on the wall. We just have a list of things that need to get done today. Most of us have been working together for a while, so we have a good rhythm going. We don't use a lot of buzzwords. We just speak plain English and explain things simply. If a client has a question, they can just ask, and we’ll give them a straight answer. It’s a small operation, but we stay busy and we like the neighborhood we’re in. It feels like a real part of Pune, and that makes coming into work a lot more interesting every single morning.
