Damodar P30

At Damodar P30, located at Bibvewadi 50, things stay pretty busy from the moment we unlock the front door. It is a bit of a walk-up spot where people know they can get what they need without a lot of fuss. We have been in this neighborhood for a bit now, and we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a few times. Our space is functional, nothing too fancy to look at, just solid walls and a counter that has seen better days. We spend a lot of time talking to the suppliers who drop off the crates every morning. Sometimes they forget an item and we have to call them back, which is just part of the daily routine. The floor is tiled and easy to sweep, which is good because people bring in a lot of dust from the street. We have a small clock on the wall that runs five minutes fast, but we never bothered to fix it. It helps us stay ahead of the lunch rush. Most of the people who come in live right around the corner. We know their names and what they usually want before they even say anything. It is not about being the biggest place in Bibvewadi; we just want to keep the lights on and serve the people who live here. The evening shift is usually quieter, which gives us time to count everything and get ready for the next day.
