Cytel Software

We are based in Flat 201 at the Ekta Complex. It is right on Br.Gadgil Street in Sadashiv Peth. If you have lived in Pune for a while, you know this part of town is very traditional and crowded. We work on software here. It is not a huge corporate building, just a regular residential flat that we turned into a workspace. We have our computers set up and we spend most of the day coding or looking at sets of data. It gets a bit quiet when everyone is focused on their screens, but we talk a lot during our lunch breaks. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. We have been here in Sadashiv Peth for some time now. We like the vibe of the neighborhood. There are some really good snack places right around the corner. Our work is mostly technical, dealing with software for different clients. We do not really do the big corporate meetings here; it is more about getting the code right and fixing bugs. Sometimes we stay late when a big project is due, but that is just how it goes in the software business. The office is a bit crowded with monitors and cables everywhere. It is a real working space, not a showroom for visitors. We know the local shopkeepers and they know us. It is a comfortable place to do our work.
