Cypress Hotel

You can find us over in the Annapoorna Industrial Compound in Yerwada. Being near the industrial area and Kanakapura Road means we get a lot of people who are here for work. The building is straightforward, nothing too complicated about the layout. We have the guest rooms on the upper floors and the lobby downstairs. It’s usually pretty quiet during the middle of the day when everyone is out at their jobs. We spend that time changing the sheets and cleaning the bathrooms. The hallways are long and have that specific cleaning product smell. We have a small kitchen area where we make basic meals for the guests. The front desk is manned all the time. Sometimes the traffic on Kanakapura Road makes it hard for people to pull in, but they find their way. We have a lot of keys to manage and paperwork to file. The industrial compound nearby has its own rhythm, and we sort of follow that. It’s not a touristy spot. Most people are just looking for a place to sleep before their next shift or meeting. We make sure the water is hot and the AC units are working properly. It’s a lot of maintenance work behind the scenes. We just keep things tidy and wait for the evening check-ins to start. It’s a steady kind of life here.
