About Curry Leaf Executive Kitchen – Food & Beverages in Pune
We operate out of Nagar Road, right near Gill Road. It is mostly about getting the food ready for people who are working in the offices around here. The kitchen stays pretty hot all day. We start the burners early in the morning. It’s a lot of chopping and stirring. We aren't a big fancy dining hall, more like a place that focuses on getting the meals out on time. My brother handles the deliveries while I stay back and watch the stove. We use a lot of curry leaves, hence the name, it's just a common thing we like. The traffic on Nagar Road can be a real pain during the afternoon, so we have to plan the packing carefully. We don't have a huge menu, just a few things we do every day. It’s hard work, standing on your feet for ten hours, but we are used to it by now. The space is a bit tight but we keep the counters scrubbed. It’s just a regular kitchen run by regular people. We don't do any big marketing or anything. If the food is okay, people come back. That’s how it works for us. Gill Road is a good spot because everyone passes through here. We don't have any fancy signs, just the smell of the food cooking to let people know we are there. It's a busy life.
