Our lab is based in Progress House, which is at number 54 on the Mumbai-Pune Road in Shivaji Nagar. It is a very busy part of Pune, and the traffic outside is almost never-ending. Being right on the main road makes it easy for people to drop off samples or come in for meetings, even if the noise can be a bit much sometimes. Inside, it is a bit more serious because we have all our testing equipment set up. We have been in this building for a long time. It isn't a modern glass tower; it is a solid, older building that has seen a lot of use. We have a bunch of technicians and office staff who keep the place running. Most of the time, the lab is full of people in lab coats looking at machines or writing down numbers on clipboards. We aren't the type of place that cares much about fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We just care about getting the testing done right so we can give people the information they need. It’s a lot of routine work, checking and double-checking things every day. We see a lot of engineers and contractors coming through the doors. Everyone is usually in a hurry, so we just try to keep things moving as fast as the process allows. It’s a busy, functional spot in the middle of a busy city.
