Creative Laser Fabricators Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Chikhlee at number 252. Don’t let the "Pvt Ltd" part of the name fool you into thinking we’re some giant corporation with a skyscraper. We’re just a local outfit working with laser cutting tools in a modest space. The shop floor is where everything happens. You can see the sparks and hear the hum of the lasers through the windows if you walk by on the street. It’s actually quite a small space once you get all the large sheets of metal inside and stacked up. We have to be careful how we move things around so we don't trip over each other or the equipment. We started this because we liked the idea of making things from scratch using the right tools. Our desks are covered in sketches and scrap bits of metal from previous jobs. We don’t have a cleaning service that comes in every night, so there’s usually some metal dust on the surfaces. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for the machines to finish their cycles. It’s not a fancy environment for guests. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the chairs in the office area are a bit squeaky when you sit down. We don't really care about that stuff as long as the lasers are working.
