Cotton Spot

Cotton Spot is a small shop located in Dhanakawadi on the 8th Main Road. We are specifically in Phase-Ii, around the 92/96 area. It is a simple place where we sell cotton goods and fabrics. The shop isn't very large, but we try to keep a decent variety of materials on the shelves for whoever walks in. Dhanakawadi is a residential kind of neighborhood, so we see a lot of the same faces coming back when they need something new for their home or for making clothes. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that; we just put the sign out front and open the doors every morning. The 8th Main Road gets a fair amount of foot traffic, which helps. Inside, you will mostly find piles of cloth and some basic racks. It can get a little cramped when we get a new shipment in and haven't put everything away yet. We spend most of the day measuring out meters of fabric and cutting them for customers. It is a lot of folding and unfolding. The light in the shop is okay, but we mostly rely on the big front window to see the true colors of the threads. We have been here at this 92/96 spot for a bit, and it suits us just fine. It is a plain business for people who just want good cotton without any fuss or high prices.
