Copier World

We are tucked away in the basement of the Shan Bramha Complex, Shop B-5/3. Budhwar Peth is a maze of streets, but we are right near Sakal Press Marg. If you find the Faras Khana Police Station or the Bhausaheb Rangari Ganapati Mandir, you are basically there. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze down here in the basement, but we have all our machines set up. We spend our days making copies and printing documents for whoever comes down the stairs. It’s often noisy with the sound of the copiers running all at once. The lighting isn't the best because we are underground, but we’ve gotten used to it. People bring in all sorts of papers, from school notes to legal documents. We just do the work and hand them back. Sometimes the machines act up or run out of toner, and we have to stop and fix them. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always someone looking for a quick copy. We don't have fancy furniture or a waiting room, just a counter and the machines. We’ve been in Budhwar Peth for a while and know how the local crowd is. It’s practical work, and we just keep at it from morning to night. You might have to look a bit to find us behind the temple area, but we’re always here working through the stack of papers people leave with us.
