Ganesh Peth is a crowded area, and that’s where you’ll find us. Compu Quick Services is tucked away in one of the older buildings. It’s a bit of a maze to get here if you don’t know the lanes. We handle computer repairs, laptop servicing, and sometimes printers too. The shop is always full of old towers and monitor screens waiting to be picked up. I’ve been working on computers since I was a teenager. It’s different now with everything being so compact. Most days are spent cleaning out dust from fans or trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't booting up. It gets loud with the traffic outside and the fans whirring inside. We get a mix of students and small business owners from the market. They usually come in with an emergency because they have a deadline. We do our best to help them out quickly. It’s a lot of sitting and clicking. Sometimes we run out of spare parts and have to wait for a delivery from the bigger distributors. The space is a bit cramped, and cables are everywhere. I keep telling myself I’ll organize it next Sunday, but that day never seems to come. It’s a busy life in Ganesh Peth. People just want their stuff fixed so they can get back to work. We don’t have a website or anything; people usually just find us by word of mouth or seeing the sign.
