Chirag Caterers

Started working at Chirag Caterers a while back. We are tucked away in Row House No 70, which is part of the Prakash Developers block in Vadgaon Sheri. It’s not right on the main street, so you have to head down Nagar Road and look for the Surya Hotel. Once you’re behind that, it’s easier to find us. The morning starts early here when the air is still a bit cool. We spend a lot of time getting things ready in the kitchen, moving pots around and checking the lists. The neighborhood is mostly houses and some newer developments, so it’s a mix of families and people just moving in. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets really loud, but back here in the row house, it’s a bit more manageable. We have our routines, like opening up the shutters and making sure the workspace is clean before the day really kicks off. It’s a lot of manual work, standing on your feet and making sure orders are packed up. The delivery guys know the shortcut now, but for a while, everyone got lost trying to find the specific row house number. It’s just how things go around here. We’ve been at this address for a bit, and you get used to the sounds of the neighbors and the local shops nearby. It's a busy spot but we just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done.
