Chintamani Varieties Stores

Chintamani Varieties Stores is a small place we run near the Akashwani area in Hadapsar. We are located right by Kamal Bad Society. It’s a local shop that’s been around for some time, serving the people who live in the surrounding flats. We sell all the usual things like snacks, some basic medicine, and household cleaners. The shop isn't very big, so we have stuff stacked up high on the shelves. Sometimes you have to be careful not to knock something over when you’re turning around. I’ve got a small TV in the corner that I watch when business is slow in the afternoon. My kids sometimes come by after school to help me restock the cold drinks in the fridge. The floor is made of old tiles that are a bit cracked in the corners. We don't have any fancy signs or bright lights outside. It’s just a simple door with the name painted above it. People from Kamal Bad Society come in all the time for things they forgot at the bigger market. It’s a friendly vibe, and we chat about the weather or the local news while I bag up their items. It’s just a normal way to earn a living and help the neighbors out. We keep it open pretty late most nights of the week.
