Chintamani Godbole

Our office is at 79 Dhanakawadi, over in Transport Nagar, Sector No 23. We are based inside Saikrupa Society. It is a quiet enough area most of the time, though you can hear the heavy trucks from the main transport hub not too far away. Chintamani Godbole is the name on the door. It started out as just one person and slowly grew into what it is today. We don't have a big staff. It is mostly just family and a couple of helpers. The walls are covered with calendars and some old photos. We spend our days dealing with transport documents and helping people figure out their logistics. It is a lot of paperwork and sometimes it feels like we are drowning in forms. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. You just walk in and we are usually sitting right there at the main table. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big deadline or a problem with a shipment. We do not use a lot of big words or try to act like we know everything. We just do what we can with the tasks at hand. It is a simple business run by people who care about getting the details right. We take our tea black and our work seriously. That is all there is to it at the end of the day.
