Shri Painting And Decorating

Shri Painting And Decorating operates out of Chinchwade Colony No. 2. We are right by Chintamani Chowk in the Walhekarwadi area of Chinchwad. Our place is more of a storage spot for ladders, paint cans, and drop cloths than a real office. You can usually find us covered in some color or another by the end of the shift. We spend our days at different sites, so the shop is often empty until the evening. We do everything from basic walls to more detailed work, but we are not the type to use big words for it. It is just painting. The brushes need cleaning every night, which is a chore no one likes. Being in Chinchwad, we know the local houses and shops pretty well. We have worked for a lot of the families in the colony. Sometimes the weather does not cooperate and we have to wait for walls to dry, which throws off our whole schedule. We do not have a big truck, just a small van that is stained with every color we have ever used. We get our supplies from the local hardware store and try to keep things simple. If you come by the chowk, you might see us loading up in the morning. It is hard work on the knees and back, but seeing a fresh coat of paint on a house makes it feel like we did something useful.
