Lucky Steel

We spend most of our time here at Gat No. 15 on the Chikhali-Moshi Road. It gets pretty dusty with all the trucks moving in and out of Chaudhary Nagar. Lucky Steel isn't a fancy office with air conditioning. It's mostly just us handling metal and making sure things get loaded right. Some days the traffic on Moshi Road is a real headache for the drivers. We’ve been in this part of Chikhali for a while now. Most people around here know where we are. Dealing with steel means your hands stay dirty. We don't mind. It's how the work gets done. Sometimes the gates get crowded in the morning. We try to keep the stacks organized so we can find what’s needed without moving everything twice. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside. But this is what we do. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we started. More buildings are going up every year. We see the same faces often, which is nice. If you’re looking for the place, just head down towards Chaudhary Nagar and look for the sign. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps the day go by a bit faster. There isn't much to say other than we show up, move the material, and go home when the sun sets. That's just life at Lucky Steel in Pune.
