Chetna Stores

We’ve been running Chetna Stores for a while now over here at Budhwar Peth Ambalipura. It’s right by the Sarjapur Road area near Bellandur Gate. Most people around here know us because we try to keep the shelves full with what folks actually need day to day. It’s not a fancy place or anything, just a regular shop where you can grab your essentials without much fuss. Usually, one of us is behind the counter from morning until late evening. We know most of our regulars by name and what they usually come in for, which makes the days go by faster. The traffic around the gate gets pretty bad sometimes, but we’re tucked away enough that it’s manageable for people to stop in. We don’t really do any big advertising or anything like that. People just find us because we’re here on the corner. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in, but we get it sorted eventually. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years with all the new buildings going up, but we’re still here doing the same thing. If you’re passing through the Bellandur area and need something, you’ll probably see our sign. It’s a simple setup. We just try to keep the basics in stock so nobody has to go too far. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll see different faces depending on the time of day and who is available to work.
