R. K. Engineers

If you are driving down the Pune Solapur Road, you will eventually hit Urali Kanchan. That is where we are based, specifically at Milkat No.2/814. It is right on the main highway, so the sound of traffic is something we hear all day long. The trucks and buses heading towards Solapur or into Pune never really stop. Our place is not very big, just a functional space for R. K. Engineers. We have been in Urali Kanchan for some time now and have seen the road get wider and busier every year. The air is often thick with exhaust and dust from the construction nearby. Inside, it is a bit more peaceful, though we keep it pretty basic. We have a couple of desks and some equipment we use daily. It gets quite hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the building directly. We usually pull the shutters down halfway to keep the heat out. There is a small dhaba nearby where we get our tea in the mornings. Most people who live around here know the area by the milkat numbers. It is not a fancy corporate office, just a practical spot on a very busy road. We don't have any big flashy lights or anything. It's just a place where we show up every morning to do our work and then head home when it's done. It can be a noisy environment but we are used to the highway life.
