Chandra Art Auto Electric Works

Down in the Camp area, near Saug Baug at number 4, you will find our little workshop. Chandra Art Auto Electric Works has been around for a long time now. It is a small, cramped place, mostly filled with tangled wires, old batteries, and various car parts scattered across the workbenches. We spend most of our time bent over open engines or sitting on low wooden stools trying to figure out why a starter motor is not turning or why some headlights will not stop flickering. It is greasy work, and there is always a bit of dust and the smell of burnt oil in the air. The neighborhood is an old one, and it has that specific feel of a place that has seen a lot of history over the decades. We do not have a big waiting room or any fancy air conditioning for people to sit in. Usually, customers just stand around on the sidewalk and chat with us while we look at their vehicles. Sometimes the repairs only take a few minutes, and other times we are scratching our heads for hours trying to find a short circuit. That is just the nature of electrical work in older cars. We have got a couple of old fans that keep the air moving, but it still gets pretty hot in the afternoons. Our neighbors know us well, and we have seen this street change quite a bit. We just keep our tools ready for the next job.
