Chandan Times

Chandan Times is located at 127 Asha Sadan in Pimpri. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you’re walking around the main market areas there. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now. Pimpri is a place that feels like its own world sometimes, with all the shops and people moving about. Our shop isn't very large, but we have a lot of clocks and watches around. You can hear them ticking if it ever gets quiet enough, which isn't often because of the street noise. We spend our days either fixing things or showing people different pieces they might want to wear. It’s a lot of fine work, looking at small parts under a magnifying glass. Sometimes the parts are hard to find, but we keep looking until we find a match. We have a few regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They bring in their old watches that stopped working. It’s nice to see familiar faces. The shop gets a bit cluttered with tools and spare parts on the workbench, but that’s just how we work. It’s not a shiny mall store; it’s just a local place where we do our job. We open up the shutters every morning and see what the day brings. It’s a steady kind of life here in Pimpri. We just focus on the watches and the people who own them, keeping things ticking along.
