Chandan Steel Ltd. is based out of Nav Sahyadri Soc., at number 44/5. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the main industrial hubs, but it suits us just fine. Dealing with steel isn't exactly a quiet job, but we handle the administrative side and the logistics from here. We have a lot of long days. The phone rings pretty often with people asking about prices or delivery dates. We try to give them straight answers without any runaround. Steel is one of those things where you either have it or you don’t, and we try to keep things moving. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in tracking batches and making sure the quality is what it should be. We aren’t big on fancy speeches or polished brochures. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Our neighbors in the society know us, and we try to keep things orderly. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty from all the files, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve been at this for years. It’s about building a reputation for just being there when someone needs a specific order filled. We don't promise things we can't do. If a shipment is going to be late, we just say so. It’s easier that way. Most of our day is spent coordinating between suppliers and the people who actually need the metal. It’s steady work and we like the people we deal with.
