Chandan Pan Shop

Working near Pune Station is always a bit chaotic but in a way you get used to after a week or two. Chandan Pan Shop is right by the Shree Guppi Hariya Industrial Estate. Because of the location, we get a lot of people coming in from the factories and the offices nearby. There is always the sound of trucks or machinery in the distance. It never really stays silent around here. I spend a lot of my time just standing behind the counter watching the traffic go by. The industrial estate has so many different businesses, so we see all kinds of workers throughout the shift. Some come in during their break to get away from the noise for a minute. Pune Station is close enough that you can feel the energy of the city moving all the time. Shree Guppi Hariya Industrial Estate is a landmark most people around here know well. The shop is small and tucked away, but it has its place. Sometimes it gets dusty because of all the movement, so I am always wiping things down with a rag. It is a steady routine. Open up, check the stock, talk to the regulars who have been coming for years. Chandan Pan Shop does not change much, and I think people like that consistency. It is just a reliable spot in a very busy part of the city. We do not have a big sign or anything, just the name and the address on the wall. It is enough for us.
