Chaitanya Sales

Chaitanya Sales has been operating out of Warje Malwadi for a good while now. We are at number 134, and if you are familiar with the area, you know it can get pretty lively with all the shops and people moving about. We sell a variety of household goods and things that people use in their daily lives. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack things pretty high on the shelves to make everything fit. It can look a bit cluttered at times, but we know exactly where every item is kept. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance. They come in for things they forgot to buy at the big market or just because they prefer a smaller shop where they can talk to someone. We don't have a fancy computer system for everything; we still do a lot of things by hand in a ledger. It works for us. During the monsoon, we have to be careful about the rain coming in through the front, so we are always moving stuff around. It is just a regular life of opening up in the morning, cleaning the dust off the counters, and waiting for the first customer to walk in. We don't do much advertising because the shop has been here long enough for people to know us.
