Chaitanya Hospital & Nursing Home

We operate out of Rahi Sakha Apartment on the Pune-Sinhagad Road in the Parvati area. It’s a nursing home and hospital setup, so we have people staying with us for a while sometimes. The building is S.No.133, and it has been part of this neighborhood for quite some time. Living and working on Sinhagad Road means you get used to the constant sound of the city. Inside the nursing home, we try to keep things as comfortable as possible for the patients. The rooms are basic but functional. We have the nurses moving back and forth between the beds, checking on everyone and making sure they have what they need. It’s a lot of hard work, especially during the night shifts when the street finally gets quiet. We don't have any marketing people or glossy brochures. Most people find us because they live nearby or their family members were treated here before. The kitchen area often smells like tea or simple meals being prepared. It’s an honest place. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a lightbulb flickers, and we just fix it and keep going. We are focused on the day-to-day tasks of nursing and medical care. It’s about making sure the bandages are changed and the medicine is given on time. It is a small team and we all know each other’s habits by now. We just do our best with what we have and focus on the folks in the beds.
