Cephalopod Teknik-Iv Llp is tucked away in the Sindh Housing Society in Pune. It’s a residential area, so it’s actually quite peaceful compared to the rest of the city. We are at Plot Number 445. It’s basically a house turned into an office space. We like it this way because it doesn’t feel like a cold, gray cubicle farm. There are trees outside and we can hear the birds, which is nice. We do technical work, hence the "Teknik" in our name. We aren't some giant firm with hundreds of employees. We are just a few people who know how to handle engineering and technical tasks. We don't use fancy jargon when we talk to our clients. We just explain what needs to be done and then we do it. The society has some rules about parking and noise, so we keep things quiet and professional. Most of our day is spent on the computer or discussing plans around a wooden table. We don't have a big marketing department or a social media manager. We just rely on doing our work correctly. It’s a straightforward setup. We chose this location because it’s easy to get to but far enough from the main road to avoid the worst of the Pune traffic. It’s a good place to think and get things finished without a lot of distractions.
