Celebration Candle

Our workshop is at C/701 Anand Nagar, inside the Sun Sattelite building. We are quite close to Sun City, which is a big landmark around here. It is a bit of a climb up to the seventh floor, but the view is decent. We make candles in this space. You can always smell the wax as soon as you step out of the lift. Sometimes the smell of vanilla or jasmine is really strong, and other times it is just the plain smell of melting wax. There are molds and wicks scattered on the tables. It is a bit of a mess because we are always in the middle of a batch. We do a lot of the work by hand. The floor can get a bit slippery if we drop any wax, so we have to be careful. Anand Nagar is a quiet enough area, which is nice for focusing on the work. We started making candles because we liked the process. It is just a few of us here. We don't have a big showroom; it is mostly just a place where the making happens. During the festival seasons, we are working late into the night. We have boxes stacked up in the corner ready to be sent out. It is a small operation, and we like it that way. We spend our days melting, pouring, and waiting for things to cool down.
