Our office is tucked away in Flat No-5 of the Vishal Jay Society. It’s a residential building in Subhash Nagar, right in the heart of the Vishrantwadi area of Pune. If you didn’t know we were here, you might just walk right past it thinking it’s just another home. Catapult Info Solution is basically just a small group of us sitting at our computers most of the day. The society is usually quiet in the mornings, which is nice for getting work done, but it picks up when the kids come home from school. We’ve got a few rooms set up with desks and plenty of wires running along the floor. It’s not a polished showroom or anything like that. There is a small kitchen area where we keep our lunch boxes and a kettle for coffee. Usually, the talk in the office is about whatever project we are stuck on or what the traffic is going to be like on the way home. Vishrantwadi can get really jammed up in the evenings, so we always keep an eye on the time. It is a very local way of working, being inside a housing society like this. You get to know the neighbors and the security guards. We just focus on our info solutions stuff and keep things simple without any big fuss or corporate layers. It’s just how we operate in this little corner of the city.
