C Dac Formerly Er Dci

C Dac Formerly Er Dci is located in a bit of an interesting spot. We are at Hardikar Wada, which belongs to M. R. Hardikar. It’s in the Kotbhag area of Walwa, in the Sangli district of Maharashtra. Working out of a Wada is quite different from a modern office building. These old structures have a lot of character, though they can be a bit drafty or leaky when the monsoon hits. We’ve been here for quite some time, even before the name changed from Er Dci. People in the village and the Tehsil know us pretty well by now. It’s a quiet place for the most part, far away from the big city rush of Pune or Mumbai. We deal with our daily tasks in a very traditional setting. Sometimes the cows walk right past the entrance, and you can hear the sounds of the local market nearby. We don’t have fancy air conditioning or sleek furniture. We use old wooden desks that have been here for years. It’s a very grounded way to work. Most of our day is spent handling local matters and keeping the records straight. We appreciate the history of the place, even if it’s just our workplace. It is an honest, local setup where everyone knows each other’s names and we just do what needs to be done without any extra polish. The change in the name didn't really change how we do things or how we treat our neighbors in the district. We just keep moving forward with our daily routine.
