Bora Agro Foods

You can find us at 39D, Smarat House, right on 2/6 Shankar Sheth Road. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always the sound of traffic and horns in the background. Smarat House is an older building, and our office inside is just a regular workspace with desks, chairs, and stacks of papers. Bora Agro Foods is mostly about the products we get from the farms, so we spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking on the state of the seeds and grains. It isn't a glamorous job. There’s a lot of back and forth on the phone and trying to coordinate with the warehouses. The room we work in isn't very big, so we’re all pretty close to each other, which helps when we need to ask a quick question. We don't have any of those fancy coffee machines or lounges. Usually, someone just goes out and brings back tea for everyone in paper cups. The walls have some old calendars on them and maybe a map of the region that’s starting to yellow at the edges. We focus on the daily tasks, like checking the prices and making sure the shipments are on time. It’s a steady kind of life, and the road outside is always full of people going somewhere. Finding a parking spot near the building is a nightmare, so most of us just take the bus.
