Our little shop is tucked away in the Camp Main Market at Naya Gaon, specifically at Shop 149. It’s a crowded area, so things get pretty lively around here most days. We opened up Bon Appetit because we wanted to have a spot where people could grab a bite while they’re out doing their shopping. It’s not a huge space, so sometimes it feels a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once. We’ve got a few workers who’ve been with us since the start. They know how the stove works better than I do. Most of the time, we’re just busy prepping ingredients or packing up bags for people on the go. The market noise comes right through the front door, which we keep open most of the day. You can hear the vendors calling out their prices while we’re serving. It’s a bit chaotic, honestly. But that’s just how it is in this part of town. We try to keep things simple and quick. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. Just some shelves, a counter, and the food we make every morning. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the people walk by. Other days, we can barely keep up with the rush. That’s life at the market for you. We’re just glad to be a part of it and have a place to work. It works for us and our neighbors.
