Bombay Hardware & Sanitary Mart is right by the Nigdi Bus Stop. We are specifically located at Nigdi Kudale Chowk on J. M. Road. This is in the Shivajinagar area. Because of the bus stop, it's a very busy place. There are always people waiting around and buses moving in and out. The noise from the traffic at Kudale Chowk is constant. We’ve been here for a long time. Our shop is full of hardware and sanitary items, so it's a bit cramped inside. We don't have fancy displays or a modern showroom. Everything is just stacked up where we can reach it. J. M. Road is one of those places that never seems to quiet down. We are just a local mart doing our thing every day. We don't have a big corporate structure or any polished slogans. We just talk to the folks who come in and help them find what they need for their homes. Most people in Shivajinagar know the Nigdi Bus Stop, so they don't have trouble finding us. It’s a landmark for the whole neighborhood. The shop feels a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We see a lot of different faces every day because of the bus stop. It’s an interesting place to be. We just keep the doors open and get on with the work. It’s a simple, everyday way to spend our time. We like being part of the local scenery here.
