You can find us over in Kothrud, in a place called Bhusari Colony. Our office is actually Flat No 7, inside the building at S.No. 98. It’s on Plot No. 72, which is situated on the right side of Paud Road if you’re coming from the city center. It’s a quiet residential area, so it doesn't feel like a typical business district. Blackslate Digital Private Limited is run by a small team of us who prefer this kind of atmosphere. Since it’s a residential flat, we have a small kitchen where we boil water for tea and a balcony where we sometimes take breaks. We do digital work, which mostly involves a lot of typing and looking at screens for hours. It’s not very exciting to look at. We have wires running across the floor and stacks of papers on the desks that probably should have been filed away weeks ago. We aren't interested in being a big polished firm. We just want to get our projects finished on time. The parking in the colony is okay, but sometimes the neighbors get annoyed if we block their way. There is a local cat that hangs around the stairs, and we sometimes give it some milk. It’s a very relaxed way to work. We don't wear suits or have big meetings. We just talk to each other across the room. It works for us and keeps the stress levels low.
