Bismilla Kirana Store

Running Bismilla Kirana Store in the Wagholi Camp area is a full-time job that keeps us on our toes from dawn until well after dark. We are located over by Herms Grandstand, which has become a lot busier lately with all the new buildings going up around us. Our shop is a simple setup where we try to keep everything a household might need on short notice. We spend a lot of our time moving heavy sacks of grain and stacking boxes of biscuits or soap. It is a bit of a tight squeeze inside the store, especially when we get a large shipment in. The air usually smells like a mix of dried chilies and washing powder. We don't use any high-tech equipment here, just a basic scale and a lot of patience for the daily rush. Most of our regulars are folks from the nearby camps who stop by for a chat while they pick up their groceries. The afternoon sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually sit back a bit to stay cool during the quiet hours. We aren't trying to be the biggest store in Wagholi, just a reliable one where you can find what you need without a fuss. It is a lot of manual labor, lifting and carrying things all day, but it feels good to stay busy. We just focus on the basic tasks and keep the shop running.
