Birla Steel

Birla Steel is located at Plot-8, Gut 48/1, in Sai Nagar. We are on Bhuwl Road, which puts us pretty close to Godavari Engineering College. It’s an interesting spot because we see a lot of students and faculty passing by, even though our business is mostly about heavy steel. The yard is where we spend ninety percent of our time, measuring out sections and loading them onto trucks. It’s loud work with the clanging of metal, but we don't mind it. My father started this place, and I’ve been helping out since I was a teenager. We aren't a big corporation; we are just a small team working out of this plot in Sai Nagar. The office is mostly for keeping the rain off our heads and storing the logs. We deal with all kinds of steel, mostly for residential buildings and small shops being built nearby. Sometimes the college students come by just to ask questions for their projects, which can be a nice break from the usual routine. The road outside can get a bit congested during peak hours, but that’s just life on Bhuwl Road. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. People know where we are, and they know we just sell steel without any complications. It’s a busy, noisy, and satisfying way to spend the day. We just keep working and hope the metal prices stay steady.
