Big Bazar

Big Bazar is located at Mahavir Park, right opposite Walvekar Lawns on the Pune Satara Road. The name might make you think of a huge supermarket chain, but we are just our own local thing here. Being across from Walvekar Lawns means we see a lot of action, especially during the wedding season. The whole street gets packed with cars and people in fancy clothes. Our store is quite large compared to some others in the area. We have rows of shelves filled with household items and groceries. The floor is tiled, but some of them are loose and they make a clicking sound when you walk over them. We don't have those fancy automated checkout lines. We just have a couple of people at the front who know how to handle the cash and the bags. The lighting is a bit bright, which makes the place feel more open. We spend a lot of our time moving boxes from the back room to the front. It’s hard work, and our backs usually ache by the end of the day. We have a small area near the door where people can leave their bags. It’s a busy spot and there is always something happening. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked and making sure the regulars find what they are looking for without too much trouble.
