Our office is located in Flat No 502, Ganesh Plaza Ase2, over in Khanda Colony. It’s Sector 1 in New Panvel, which is a busy part of the New Mumbai area. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view, but mostly we are looking at stacks of folders. Working out of a flat makes it feel a bit more relaxed than a big corporate tower, which suits us fine. We handle the local coordination for Bhushan Steel Ltd from here. The 410206 pin code is where we spend our Monday to Saturdays. It’s a lot of phone calls and coordinating with the transport guys. The traffic in Panvel can be a nightmare, so we do a lot of our business over the phone or via email. The office has that typical Mumbai feel, a bit cramped but we make use of every inch of space. We've got a small pantry for tea and the noise from the street usually drifts up. It’s a straightforward operation. We aren't doing anything fancy, just moving steel and keeping the records straight. People come in and out, mostly delivery folks or local contractors. It gets humid, so the AC is usually running full blast. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized in the middle of all the chaos. It is a very practical place to work.
